First Explanatory Poster
The Diverse diversity Campaign has added its first Portrait-style explanatory poster to its Resources area. Addressing the issue of whose identity is expressed by the words we use to describe the world around us, including other people, it seeks to question the Wokeist claim people are entitled to dictate how others should see them and it is some kind of oppression if others fail to give in to their demands.
The poster is also new in another sense. Instead of promoting the Campaign as its main emphasis, it addresses an issue, making a point about a principle and crediting the Campaign as its provider. It therefore builds on the recently amended Welcome signs in moving away from advertising the Campaign to promoting the cause for which the Campaign stands.
